Terms of Service

1. Service Description

RefRouter ("the Service") is a web application that helps sports officials and referees optimize their game schedules by connecting to third-party scheduling platforms, importing game data, and calculating optimal routes to maximize earnings per mile. RefRouter is currently operated by Vyacheslav Porollo, a sole proprietor ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Account Authorization

By connecting a scheduling platform or providing a supported calendar feed or export to RefRouter, you represent that you own the account or are authorized to use the data, and you explicitly authorize us to:

• Access your authorized scheduling data using the credentials, OAuth grant, API authorization, private calendar URL, export, or session state you choose to provide.
• Import game schedules, assignments, pay rates, and related data from those platforms.
• Store authorization material in encrypted form when it is needed for periodic synchronization.

You may revoke a connection at any time from RefRouter settings. Upon disconnection, local credentials, grants, and session material become unusable immediately. Limited encrypted or opaque records may remain while provider-side revocation or cleanup is retried, and accepted, completed, paid/unpaid tracking, and other historical game data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of RefRouter-held data by contacting us.

3. No Guarantee

RefRouter provides route optimization and game ranking as informational tools only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of route calculations, pay estimates, travel times, or scheduling data. RefRouter is not responsible for missed games, scheduling conflicts, late arrivals, lost income, or any other consequences arising from reliance on the Service. You are solely responsible for verifying your schedule and arriving at your assignments on time.

4. No Affiliation

RefRouter is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by HorizonWebRef, OSSRC, or any sports officiating assigning authority, league, or governing body. All product names, logos, and trademarks referenced within the Service belong to their respective owners.

5. Payment and Pricing

RefRouter is currently offered through a waitlist and limited early-access trial. RefRouter does not currently advertise or sell a paid subscription. If paid features or plans are introduced, applicable pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be presented before you make a purchase. Future paid access will require your separate agreement and payment authorization; joining the waitlist or trial does not itself create a payment obligation.

6. Acceptable Use

By using RefRouter, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Share your RefRouter account with others or allow unauthorized access to your account.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service beyond its intended functionality.
• Provide credentials for scheduling accounts that you do not own or are not authorized to use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RefRouter and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability. Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to RefRouter in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in the State of Ohio. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users of the Service, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data following termination in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of RefRouter after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
